Welcome

Our Preserve has been in operation since 2004.  It is situated on a portion of our working farm, where we raise tobacco, hay, and wheat.  You can find us located in Robertson County, 13  miles NW of Springfield, Tennessee, off Hwy. 161,  just a “stones throw” from the Kentucky border.

I grew up hunting and fishing – been an outdoorsman all my life.  I especially enjoy  upland gamebird hunting. I recall when I was just a boy, asking my Dad,  “Will there always be a place like this to hunt?” He replied, “I don’t know, son.”   From that day on, I knew I wanted to ensure that I always had a place to go hunting, and as I grew up, I decided one day I would open up a hunting preserve with enough land, ground cover and natural habitat that I could share with other hunters. That was the plan when we bought our farm and over the years we have seen rural areas and  farmland sold off and broken up into small tracts.  We have watched the habitat of many animals shrink into subdivisions .  We’ve witnessed agricultural practices change – keeping fence rows cleaned out, fields no longer sitting idle for a season, and seen land that once was available to hunt disappear. So I, along with my wife, put my plans into action and it is now our pleasure to invite you to our hunting preserve. We hope to bring back the sport and enjoyment of hunting upland gamebirds and introduce the sport to newcomers.

We have set aside 40 acres of our farm for Three Feathers. It is gently rolling terrain – a carefully maintained environment with natural grasses. We offer you the space and opportunity to hunt quail, pheasant and chukar, using one of our highly trained dogs, or bring your own dog. Either way we like to watch a birddog work, there’s nothing like it!

Please take a moment and check out our website that explains more about Three Feathers. If you’d like to talk more about hunting or schedule a hunt, please contact us at 615-696-9926, we’d enjoy hearing from you.
